Message	Hey all, Searched for an hour without success. I have a 96 300ZX TT 5 Speed. I recently started hearing a noise. This is thew odd part...it happens when i turn the key to ON but dont start the car. The sound happens only once and lasts for about 5 to 10 seconds. Sounds like when you take a yardstick off of the side of a table, pop it and pull it back slowly. It is almost defintely mechanical. This also happens intermittently at idle. I can only hear it when the windows are up. I got under the car and it seems to travel from the front to back of the car on the driver side. There is no effect to driving or idling. Runs and drives fine. Thanks for your help!!
